Mr. Albert Dwumfour is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of De Westend Communications &Media Consultants Limited and is currently the President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA). He is a dynamic and versatile communication professional with experience in handling institutions’ communication strategies, events, and publicity. Over the years, he has demonstrated success in improving the brand image of institutions through effective managerial acumen, creative campaigns, relations, script, story writing, and entrepreneurial skills. Mr. Dwumfuor is a former Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group. He previously worked for the then Jam Media Group (now Atinka Media Village) as General Manager after leading a team to establish Atinka 104.7, Agyenkwa FM, Ahotor FM, and later Atinka TV in 2014.
Mr. Dwumfour worked for several newspapers as a freelance reporter. Between 2007 and 2008, he also worked for the Insight newspaper as a freelance reporter and news reporter. He later joined the Independent. In 2010, together with Suleman Braimah, now Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, they set up The Ghanaian Analyst Newspaper.
